Attend art events with a group of fun, educated peers, ask questions, expand your perspectives, and truly engage with the arts at an extraordinary, unparalleled level. The Cultural Encounters Club is an interactive arts program where participants will have the opportunity to engage in and with the Phoenix cultural arts community in an educational and fun environment. Based on a seminar taught at the Barrett Honors College at ASU for over 4 years, the Cultural Encounters Club exists to educate and engage our community in the arts while supporting and promoting our local arts organizations. By participating in the Cultural Encounters Club you will extend your perspectives of the arts and their significance in your life such that you will begin to recognize how ancient and modern art forms continue to hold a sacred place in our community and the ways in which we lead our lives today. * The cost of tickets to each event is included in the CEC registration fee. ** Transportation will not be provided to or from events or club meetings. |
